About the Mahindra XUV 3XO
A well-equipped compact SUV under 4 metres, now with a factory CNG option alongside the turbo-petrol and diesel.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is a sub-4-metre SUV priced from Rs 7.79 lakh. It runs a 110 bhp 1.2-litre mStallion turbo-petrol, a 129 bhp TGDi version of the same engine, or a 115 bhp 1.5-litre diesel, with a 6-speed manual, a torque converter automatic or an AMT depending on the trim.
From 15 October 2026 there is also the XUV 3XO ZNG, a factory petrol and CNG bi-fuel range in four variants from Rs 9.99 lakh. It keeps the full 110 bhp and 200 Nm in CNG mode, carries two underbody cylinders of 60 litres water equivalent, and still offers 270 litres of boot space. Six airbags, ESC and four disc brakes are standard across the XUV 3XO range, which holds a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Rivals are the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Maruti Brezza.
