The BMW i7 is the fully electric version of the 7 Series flagship, sold in long-wheelbase form. The 2026 update moved it to a 112.5 kWh battery: the i7 50 xDrive makes 449 bhp and 660 Nm with a claimed 728 km WLTP range, and the M70 xDrive makes 671 bhp and 1,100 Nm with 686 km. Both use dual motors and a single-speed transmission.
It is aimed at the chauffeur-driven luxury buyer, with an Executive Lounge rear seat, the 31.3-inch Theatre Screen and a Panoramic Sky Lounge roof. Charging runs to 250 kW DC, and prices are Rs 1.95 crore to Rs 2.65 crore ex-showroom.
The BMW i7 is the all-electric version of the 7 Series limousine, and its 2026 update (the LCI facelift) landed in India on 11 September 2026 at Rs 1.95 crore for the i7 50 xDrive M Sport and Rs 2.65 crore for the M70 xDrive. Both now run a larger 112.5 kWh battery, which takes the 50 xDrive to a claimed 728 km on the WLTP cycle and the M70 to 686 km. The 50 xDrive makes 449 bhp and 660 Nm from its dual-motor xDrive setup; the M70 delivers 671 bhp and 1,100 Nm with M Launch Control engaged, enough for 250 kmph. The facelift brings the illuminated BMW kidney Iconic Glow grille, crystal headlights and fresh 20- and 21-inch Star-spoke wheels. Inside, the long 3,215 mm wheelbase is given over to Executive Lounge rear seating that reclines to 42.5 degrees, a 31.3-inch 8K Theatre Screen, the Panoramic Sky Lounge roof and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond audio. Charging runs to 250 kW DC (10-80% in 28 minutes) and 22 kW AC, with a complimentary BMW Wallbox.
