The Curvv EV is the electric version of Tata's coupe-styled compact SUV, on the brand's acti.ev architecture. The single front motor makes up to about 165 bhp and 215 Nm, driving the front wheels through a single-speed automatic. There is a choice of battery packs for different ranges.
It keeps the fastback shape of the petrol and diesel Curvv, and adds EV-specific touches like a flush-fit charging setup and regenerative braking. The cabin has a large touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats and connected features, in Tata's safety-focused body.
The Tata Curvv.ev is an electric coupe-styled SUV built on a 55 kWh liquid-cooled (Long Range) battery pack. Its Gen-2 permanent-magnet synchronous motor makes 165 bhp (123 kW) and 215 Nm of instant torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint of 8.6 seconds and a 160 km/h top speed, with a certified 502 km MIDC range (TATA.ev estimates 400-425 km real-world). Drive is to the front wheels through a single-speed reduction, with Eco/City/Sport modes and multi-mode regenerative braking controlled via paddle shifters and a customisable single-pedal drive.
