About Kia
Kia India Private Limited
Kia India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korea's Kia Corporation, is one of India's fastest-growing carmakers. Since launching the Seltos in 2019 it has built a reputation for bold, design-led SUVs and MPVs packed with segment-first technology — connected-car features, large dual displays, ADAS Level-2 safety and premium comfort — and has rapidly become one of the country's top-five passenger-vehicle brands.
Kia entered India in August 2019 with the Seltos mid-size SUV, an instant best-seller, and quickly followed it with the Sonet compact SUV and the Carens three-row MPV. Today its line-up spans the Sonet, the Seltos, the Carens and Carens Clavis, the new Syros, and the all-electric EV6 and flagship EV9 — covering price points from the value-conscious buyer to the luxury-electric segment.
Kia's India cars are built at its 536-acre manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, which has an annual capacity of over 3 lakh units and also exports to global markets. The brand differentiates itself with striking 'Opposites United' design, the Kia Connect 2.0 connected-car suite, ventilated seats, panoramic displays, Bose audio and a comprehensive ADAS Level-2 safety package offered across much of the range.
In just a few years Kia has crossed major cumulative-sales milestones in India and consistently ranks among the top passenger-vehicle manufacturers by volume. Its electric push — led by the EV6 crossover and the three-row EV9, alongside the Carens Clavis EV — positions Kia as a serious player in India's premium and electric-vehicle future, backed by a fast-expanding dealer and service network.
