MG Cars in India

MG entered India with the Hector, the country's first "internet SUV" with its i-SMART connected-car tech, and has since expanded to a wide line-up: the Astor compact SUV, the Hector and Hector Plus, the full-size Gloster and the luxury Majestor, plus a class-leading EV range — the Comet EV city car, ZS EV, and the best-selling Windsor EV crossover.

Its premium arm, MG Select, brings flagship models to India including the M9 (MIFA 9) electric luxury MPV and the Cyberster — India's first electric convertible sports car. MG manufactures locally at its Halol, Gujarat plant (the former General Motors facility) and emphasises connected technology, ADAS Level-2 safety and innovative ownership programs such as Battery-as-a-Service.

Under the JSW MG joint venture the brand is accelerating localisation and EV infrastructure, positioning itself as a value-rich, design-forward and EV-led challenger across hatchback, SUV, MPV and electric segments.
