Hyundai began its India journey with the iconic Santro in 1998 and has since become a household name. Today the range runs from the entry-level Grand i10 Nios and i20 hatchbacks to the best-selling Creta — one of India's most popular mid-size SUVs — alongside the Venue, Exter, Alcazar, the Verna sedan, the Tucson, and a growing EV line-up in the Creta Electric and Ioniq 5.

The company manufactures locally at its Chennai (Tamil Nadu) facility and is bringing a second plant near Pune (Talegaon, Maharashtra) on stream, taking combined capacity past 1.1 million units a year. Chennai also doubles as a global export hub, shipping Hyundai cars to Africa, the Middle East and neighbouring South Asian markets.

Hyundai's "Sensuous Sportiness" design language and its parent's "Progress for Humanity" vision underpin a reputation for segment-first features — ventilated seats, panoramic sunroofs, ADAS and Bluelink connected-car tech — often at competitive prices. Backed by 1,300+ sales outlets and 1,500+ service points nationwide, the brand has delivered record sales for three consecutive years and completed one of India's largest market IPOs.
