About the Tata Curvv
Tata's coupe-styled compact SUV from around ₹9.76 lakh. Turbo-petrol or diesel, with a sloping roofline.
The Curvv is a compact SUV with a coupe-like sloping roofline, and it sits above the Nexon in Tata's range. Engines are turbocharged petrol and diesel. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol makes about 118 bhp and 170 Nm, with manual, automated-manual and torque-converter automatic gearboxes across the range.
The fastback shape comes with a well-equipped cabin: a large touchscreen, a digital driver's display, ventilated seats and connected-car tech. It has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, and there is a fully electric Curvv EV as well.
The Tata Curvv Series X is the relaunched, reorganised Curvv range introduced on 3 September 2026 at ₹10.00–19.00 lakh (ex-showroom), spanning six trims from Smart X to Accomplished Plus X plus #DARK editions. The coupe-styled SUV keeps its three turbocharged engines: the 1.2L Revotron petrol with 118 bhp and 170 Nm, the 1.2L Hyperion GDi petrol with 123 bhp and 225 Nm (350-bar direct injection, sodium-cooled exhaust valves, exclusive to the Accomplished Plus X), and the 1.5L KryoJet diesel with 116 bhp and 260 Nm. Each pairs with a 6-speed manual or the 7-speed DCA dual-clutch automatic. Highlights include Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, JBL 9-speaker audio, ventilated seats, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate and a 500-litre boot.
