BRAND-WISE TOTALS
TOP-SELLING MODELS — AUGUST 2026
Numbers are passenger vehicle (PV) OEM wholesale dispatches for August 2026 unless otherwise noted. Full model-wise splits are now published for eleven of the fourteen manufacturers — Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Skoda, Volkswagen, Honda, Renault and Nissan — covering about 98% of the month's volume, and each one sums exactly to its brand total. Only MG, Citroën and Jeep have not released an August model table, so no pie is drawn for those three. Nothing is estimated, and no chart on this page groups unreported models into a catch-all slice. Mahindra's figure is domestic utility vehicles. Vahan registrations and FADA retail figures are compiled on a different basis and will not match. Three-wheeler and commercial vehicle sales are tracked separately and are not included here.
