The Škoda Kushaq is a compact SUV built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, offered in five trims: Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Two turbo-petrol engines are on offer: a 999 cc 1.0 TSI three-cylinder making 114 bhp @ 5000-5500 rpm and 178 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or a first-in-segment 8-speed torque-converter automatic; and a 1498 cc 1.5 TSI four-cylinder with Active Cylinder Technology making 148 bhp @ 5000-6000 rpm and 250 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG. ARAI fuel economy runs from 18.72 kmpl (1.5 DSG) to 19.66 kmpl (1.0 MT). Measuring 4229 mm long, 1760 mm wide and 1612 mm tall on a 2651 mm wheelbase, the Kushaq seats five and offers a 385-litre boot (491 L loaded to the roof, 1405 L with the rear seats folded), a 50-litre tank and 155 mm laden ground clearance. It scores a full 5 stars in Global NCAP with six airbags, ESC, ABS+EBD, multi-collision braking, traction control and an electronic differential lock (EDS/XDS/XDS+) standard across the range. Higher trims add a panoramic sunroof, a 26.03 cm Virtual Cockpit, a 25.6 cm touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and an AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud, 6-way ventilated electric front seats, a rear-seat massage function and a Škoda Sound System with subwoofer. The range-topping Monte Carlo adds black styling, sporty red accents, red brake calipers and a red-theme cockpit.
