About the Renault Duster
Renault's rugged mid-size SUV. Turbo-petrol and strong-hybrid options, with genuine rough-road ability.
The Duster is a mid-size SUV with a long reputation for being tough and practical. The 999 cc turbo-petrol makes about 99 bhp and 166 Nm with the manual, and a strong hybrid is available too. All-wheel drive on select variants gives it more real rough-road ability than most rivals. There is also a new Adventure Edition from ₹12.99 lakh, which adds full-LED headlamps, an electric panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate and its own colour palette, on the 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engines.
It is a five-seat SUV with a high driving position and plenty of ground clearance, and the cabin has been redesigned and is well equipped. It goes up against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara.
