About the Skoda Slavia
The midsize sedan that finally got the automatic it deserved
The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift went on sale on 6 October at Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 18.84 lakh ex-showroom, across Classic, Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. The 1.0 TSI makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm with a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed torque converter automatic, a first in the class. The 1.5 TSI with Active Cylinder Technology makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm and pairs only with the 7-speed DSG on Prestige and Monte Carlo.
New LED headlamps and tail lamps, 16-inch alloys and a 360 Area View camera from Sportline up mark the update outside. Signature and above get a 25.6 cm touchscreen with an AI assistant, and the top two trims add a 26.03 cm Virtual Cockpit, electric ventilated front seats and a rear-seat massager. Six airbags, a 5-star Global NCAP rating and the 521-litre boot are standard across the range.
The new Skoda Slavia went on sale on 6 October 2026 at Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 18.84 lakh ex-showroom, in six trims: Classic, Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. Twelve variants cover two turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI three-cylinder makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm and comes with a 6-speed manual or the new 8-speed torque converter automatic, a first in the midsize sedan class. The 1.5 TSI four-cylinder with Active Cylinder Technology makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm and is paired only with the 7-speed DSG, on Prestige and Monte Carlo. The facelift brings new LED headlamps and fog lamps, new LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators and new 16-inch alloy wheel designs: Lynx on Classic Plus, Radim on Signature, Ving black on Sportline, Savio dual-tone on Prestige and Savio black with red brake calipers on the Monte Carlo, which also gets red stripes and a Monte Carlo badge on the grille. Inside, Signature and above get a 25.6 cm touchscreen with inbuilt connectivity and an AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Virtual Cockpit of 20.32 cm (Signature, Sportline) or 26.03 cm (Prestige, Monte Carlo) with turn-by-turn navigation. Climatronic automatic climate control is standard on every trim and an electric sunroof comes from Classic Plus up. Safety includes six airbags on every variant, ESC, TPMS and a 5-star Global NCAP rating. Signature gets a rear-view camera and Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo get the new 360 Area View camera. Prestige and Monte Carlo add electrically adjustable, ventilated front seats and a first-in-segment rear-seat massager. Ten colours are offered, including the new Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, with the Monte Carlo in dual-tone finishes. Skoda Super Care covers the car with a 4-year or 1,00,000 km warranty, four labour-free services and four years of roadside assistance. The sedan is 4,541 mm long on a 2,651 mm wheelbase and keeps its 521-litre boot.
