All new face, the same honest 1.5 petrol, and a ZX Plus that finally gets the toys
The 2026 Elevate facelift keeps the recipe of Honda's compact SUV and sharpens the look: the badge moves to the bonnet, a bold mesh grille sits under the Rugged Tri-Bar LED lights, and connected tail lamps tie the rear together. Prices run from Rs 11.80 lakh for the SV manual to Rs 18.40 lakh for the ZX Plus CVT Black Edition.
The 119 bhp 1.5-litre i-VTEC carries over with a 6-speed manual or a CVT with paddle shifters. Six airbags are standard, Honda SENSING arrives on ZX, and the new ZX Plus adds a 360-degree camera, powered front seats and rear ventilated seats.
Honda launched the updated Elevate on 6 October 2026 at Rs 11.80 lakh to Rs 18.40 lakh, ex-showroom. The facelift moves the Honda badge onto the bonnet above a bold mesh grille, adds Rugged Tri-Bar signature LED lights and connected LED tail lamps, and reworks both bumpers. The lineup is now five grades, SV, V, VX, ZX and the new top ZX Plus, which is also sold as a ZX Plus Black Edition with gloss black alloys and an all-black cabin. The engine carries over: a 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol making 119 bhp at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm, paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT with 7-step paddle shifters. Claimed efficiency is 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. The CVT also brings rear disc brakes, an electric parking brake with Auto Brake Hold, remote engine start and Low Speed Follow for the adaptive cruise control. The SUV is 4,312 mm long on a 2,650 mm wheelbase with a 458-litre boot, a 40-litre tank and 220 mm of ground clearance. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Assist, hill start assist and ISOFIX mounts are standard from the SV. Honda SENSING on ZX and above adds Collision Mitigation Braking, adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Lead Car Departure Notification and auto high beam, plus a LaneWatch camera from VX. ZX Plus adds a 360-degree surround vision camera, front parking sensors, an 8-way powered driver seat, a 4-way powered co-driver seat and rear ventilated seats, a first for the segment. Inside, V and VX get a 20.3 cm (8-inch) touchscreen while ZX upwards moves to a 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) HD screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker surround system, perforated leather, front ventilated seats and wrap-around Active Orange ambient lighting. Every grade has a 17.7 cm (7-inch) HD TFT meter, automatic climate control, a PM2.5 cabin filter, smart key with push-button start and rear AC vents. Seven single-tone colours and three dual-tone shades with a Crystal Black Pearl roof are offered, and the car comes with a 3-year unlimited-km warranty extendable to 7 years, plus Anytime Warranty up to 10 years or 1,20,000 km.
