About the Honda Amaze

The Amaze has been Honda's biggest seller in India since 2013, a sub-4-metre sedan that gives you a proper three-box shape with Honda refinement. The third generation arrived in December 2024 and is the most thorough update yet. The design is sharper and more upright, with a chequered-flag grille and LED projector headlamps. The 2470 mm wheelbase frees up a 416-litre boot and a roomy back seat.
Under the bonnet is the familiar 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol, now E20-compliant, making 89 bhp and 110 Nm, with a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic with paddle shifters. The safety story is what really sets this Amaze apart. It uses Honda's ACE body structure with 46 per cent high-tensile steel, it has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, 6 airbags are standard on every variant, and the top ZX trim brings Honda SENSING ADAS, which is a first in this segment.

Power comes from a 1.2-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol that makes 89 bhp at 6000 rpm and 110 Nm at 4800 rpm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic with 7-speed paddle shifters.
