About the Safari EV
The Tata Safari EV is the all-electric version of the Safari, and is expected to be the three-row sibling of the Harrier EV that Tata already sells. Tata has not announced a launch date, a battery size, a certified range or a price.
Expert Take — should you wait for it?
If you want an electric SUV with three usable rows, this is the one worth waiting for, because right now nothing in the segment offers it. If you only need five seats, the Harrier EV is already on sale, does the same job, and will almost certainly undercut this by a couple of lakh. The honest advice is to wait only if the third row is the reason you are shopping.
