Safety and ADAS
The Sorento is likely to pack in multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist and hill-descent control. A 360-degree camera and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance are also expected. The big one is Level 2 ADAS (safety tech that can brake and steer to help you) which is expected on higher trims. No Bharat NCAP rating is available yet, as the car has not launched.
Kia Sorento vs its rivals
At an expected ₹35–45 lakh, the Sorento slots into the premium 7-seat SUV space against the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster, both diesel-led. The Jeep Meridian, priced ₹23.33–38.26 lakh, undercuts it and offers three rows too, but without a hybrid. That hybrid option is the Sorento's clearest point of difference. If Kia gets the price right, it could tempt buyers who want space plus better city fuel economy.

If you want a spacious, feature-loaded 7-seater with hybrid efficiency, the Sorento fits the bill, but the expected premium pricing is the catch.
