This isn't a light nip-and-tuck. Tata calls it a thorough update, and it shows. Up front you get a new clamshell bonnet (the flat panel over the engine), slimmer LED headlamps with DRLs (daytime running lights), and a cleaner bumper. Inside, the whole dashboard is redesigned with layered surfaces and fabric inserts, so the cabin finally feels a step above entry-level. The big safety news: 6 airbags now come standard from the base Smart trim, with ABS, EBD, and Corner Stability Control also thrown in. Tiago Petrol vs. CNG: Which fuel and why
The petrol is a 1.2 L Revotron, making 85 bhp at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque (pulling power) at 3300 rpm. You get a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT (automatic that shifts for you). The CNG is a twin-cylinder iCNG setup making 74 bhp, and it can start directly on gas; no petrol warm-up is needed. Its big draw is the claimed 28.06 km/kg (an ARAI test figure, so real driving will be a bit lower). In plain terms: CNG costs more upfront but saves heavily on fuel if you drive a lot in a city with good gas pumps.
