Audi hasn't announced official prices yet. Bookings are open for ₹1 lakh through the Audi India website, the myAudi Connect app or any Audi dealer. Based on our data, the new Q3 is expected to start around ₹43.67 lakh (ex-showroom) and top out near ₹53 lakh. Remember, on-road price adds road tax, registration and insurance, so budget more; the exact amount varies by state and city (Kolkata, Bangalore, etc. will differ). Final prices are set to land next month.
Variants and expected prices
We expect four trims. The 40 TFSI Premium is the base at about ₹43.67 lakh. The 40 TFSI Premium Plus at around ₹48.19 lakh adds more comfort and tech kit over the base. Above that sits the Signature Edition at roughly ₹52.31 lakh, and the range-topping 40 TFSI Technology at about ₹53 lakh with the fullest feature set. All four use the same engine, so you're paying for equipment, not more power. The gap from base to top is about ₹9.33 lakh.

What's new on the third-gen Q3
The design is a clean break from the old car. Up front there's a wide hexagonal Singleframe grille with a flat 2D Audi logo, flanked by new Matrix LED headlights (adaptive lights that shape the beam). At the back, split LED tail-lamps join up with a full-width light bar and a backlit Audi logo. It gets 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails. Inside, the big change is a 12.8-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital driver's display (a screen instead of dials). The gear selector now sits as a stalk behind the steering wheel, freeing up the centre console for a wireless charger, cup holders and controls.
Engine, gearbox and mileage
The Q3 runs a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol making 187 bhp and 320 Nm of torque (pulling power). It's mated to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic, with Quattro all-wheel drive sending power to all four wheels for better grip. ARAI mileage is 14.93 kmpl (a government test figure that's always higher than real driving). Expect real-world numbers closer to 9–11 kmpl in city traffic. There's no diesel and no hybrid; it's petrol only for now.
Audi Q3 vs its rivals
At an expected ₹43.67–53 lakh, the Q3 slots against the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in the luxury compact SUV space. If you cross-shop bigger, non-luxury 7-seaters, the Toyota Fortuner runs ₹34.76–50.46 lakh and the Skoda Kodiaq ₹36.99–46.99 lakh. Both offer three rows and more space for the money. But the Q3 counters with a luxury badge, Quattro AWD as standard and a far more digital cabin.
