The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is the high-performance version of the well-known G-Class, pairing a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo petrol engine making around 577 bhp and 850 Nm with AMG Performance 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, three locking differentials, a low-range transfer case and a rugged ladder-frame chassis. It combines supercar pace with genuine off-road ability.
Inside it combines AMG sport luxury with the MBUX cabin, a Burmester sound system and AMG-specific styling and seats. It is offered as the G 63 and, from September 2026, the G 63 Offroad Pro at Rs 380 lakh, which adds AMG Active Ride Control with active roll stabilisation, a Traction Pro off-road mode with seven locking stages, 20-inch matte-black alloys and a roof rack with a removable rear ladder.
