About the Tata Ace EV 1000

The Tata Ace EV 1000 is the higher-payload member of the electric Ace family, rated to carry a full tonne. It uses the same 21.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate pack and 27 kW motor as the Ace EV, making 130 Nm through a single-speed gearbox, but runs a 2,120 kg GVW and a certified 161 km of range. It is offered as a cabin load body or a flatbed, which makes it suited to palletised and cylinder work such as LPG, beverages, paints and dairy rather than parcel volume. Home charging takes about 7 hours. Tata quotes a running cost of roughly ₹1 per km and warrants the battery for 7 years or 1,75,000 km.
