About the Udo
The Mahindra Udo Electric is an electric passenger three-wheeler built around a car-like monocoque body, a first in the auto segment. It carries a driver and three passengers on an 11.7 kWh lithium-ion battery at 48 V, giving a certified range of 265 km and about 200 km in real-world use, with a full charge in 5 hours 15 minutes. The 10 kW motor makes 52 Nm, enough for a 55 km/h top speed and 25 percent gradeability, and there are three drive modes: Range, Ride and Race. Hill Hold Assist, Creep Mode for heavy traffic, reverse throttle with energy regeneration, dual fork front suspension and an independent rear come as standard, along with 215 mm of ground clearance and a 2100 mm wheelbase.
