The Orbiter is the affordable end of the TVS electric range, positioned below the iQube. It keeps the things that matter on a family scooter, a 34 litre underseat boot and an 845 mm seat that takes a pillion without argument, and adds a 14 inch front wheel that handles broken city roads better than the 12 inch wheels most scooters use. Two battery sizes are on sale. The V1 carries 1.8 kWh for 86 km of IDC range, the V2 carries 3.1 kWh for 158 km, and both use the same 2.5 kW hub motor good for 68 km/h. Drum brakes at both ends keep the price down.
