Škoda Slavia 2026 Facelift: Price, Variants, Features and Full Specs

The Škoda Slavia has been one of the last proper mid-size sedans standing in India, and for 2026 Škoda has given it a facelift that leans almost entirely on cabin technology and comfort rather than sheet metal. Bookings are open, and the headline change is mechanical: the 1.0 TSI now gets an 8-speed torque converter automatic, replacing the old 6-speed unit.

The other three changes buyers will notice are the bigger 26.03 cm Virtual Cockpit, a 25.6 cm touchscreen running an AI assistant built on Google Cloud, and a rear-seat massage function — all three firsts in this segment, according to Škoda.

Price and variants

The 2026 Slavia is offered in six variants. Škoda has kept the ladder wide — Classic opens the range on steel wheels and analogue dials, while Prestige and Monte Carlo sit at the top with the 1.5 TSI and the full technology package.

Prices are expected to run from about ₹10.20 lakh to ₹18.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Note that Škoda's official brochure does not publish variant-wise pricing, so treat the exact figures as indicative until the full price list is released — the variant and feature split below is confirmed from the brochure.

1.0 TSI, 8-speed AT (new)YesYesYesYesYes
1.5 TSI, 7-speed DSGYesYes

Two things stand out. The Monte Carlo is automatic-only — there is no manual option on the range-topping trim. And the 1.5 TSI is restricted to Prestige and Monte Carlo, so the bigger engine is now a top-two-trim proposition rather than something you can specify further down the range.

Engines and gearboxes: what actually changed

The engines carry over, but the automatic behind the smaller one does not. The 1.0 TSI three-cylinder turbo petrol now pairs with an 8-speed torque converter automatic — Škoda calls it a first in the segment. Two extra ratios over the old 6-speed should mean smoother part-throttle response in traffic and lower cruising revs on the highway.

The 1.5 TSI keeps its 7-speed DSG, which remains the enthusiast's pick and is now reserved for Prestige and Monte Carlo. The 6-speed manual continues on the 1.0 TSI across five of the six variants.

What's new on the outside

The exterior update is deliberate rather than dramatic. Škoda has fitted:

  • New LED headlamps and fog lamps
  • New LED tail lamps with sequential turn indicators
  • New R16 alloy wheel designs — Lynx, Radim, Ving Black and Savio, depending on variant
  • Monte Carlo-specific treatment — sporty red stripes, Monte Carlo badging, black alloys and red brake calipers

Wheel fitment steps up cleanly through the range: Classic runs R15 steel wheels with covers, and every variant from Classic+ upward gets R16 alloys with a distinct design per trim.

Cabin and technology

This is where the money went. The top two variants get a 26.03 cm Škoda Virtual Cockpit with turn-by-turn navigation, up from the 20.32 cm unit on Signature and Sportline. Classic and Classic+ keep analogue dials.

The infotainment split is just as clear: Classic and Classic+ get a 17.7 cm touchscreen, while Signature upward gets a 25.6 cm screen with inbuilt connectivity and the new AI Assistant powered by Google Cloud — another segment first per Škoda. If the connected-car features matter to you, Signature is the entry point; there is no way to add them to the two base trims.

Comfort features

  • Electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats
  • Rear seat massager — a segment first, on Prestige and Monte Carlo only
  • Electric sunroof — every variant except Classic
  • Climatronic automatic climate control — standard across all six variants

The rear massage function is the eye-catching one, and it is worth being precise about it: it is limited to the top two trims, so it arrives with the 1.5 TSI and the 26.03 cm cockpit as part of the same jump.

Safety

Six airbags and 25+ safety features are standard on every variant, including the base Classic — which is genuinely notable in this segment, where six airbags often remain a top-trim item.

Camera coverage is where the trims separate:

The 360-degree Area View camera is new for 2026 and starts at Sportline. Signature makes do with a rear-view camera, and the two base trims get none at all.

Colours: 10 shades, two of them new

The Slavia gets ten colours for 2026. Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige are the two new additions, and Monte Carlo takes most of the palette in dual-tone with a contrast black roof.

One practical caveat worth knowing before you book: Cappuccino Beige deliveries only begin in December 2026. If you want the car sooner, pick another shade.

Warranty and Škoda Super Care

Every new Škoda bought on or after 1 January 2026 comes under the Super Care programme:

  • 4 years or 100,000 km standard warranty, whichever comes first
  • 4 free services at 1,000 km, 7,500 km, 15,000 km and 30,000 km — free labour only, consumables not included
  • Roadside assistance under Škoda Assist's standard coverage
  • Service network support across 190+ cities

Which Slavia variant should you buy?

Best value: Signature. This is the step that unlocks the 25.6 cm touchscreen, inbuilt connectivity, the Google Cloud AI assistant and the Virtual Cockpit. Everything below it keeps analogue dials and the small screen, and none of that can be added later. If your budget stretches one trim, stretch it to here.

Best all-rounder: Prestige. The 26.03 cm cockpit, 360-degree camera, rear massager and the 1.5 TSI option all land together. It is the first variant where nothing significant is missing.

Skip unless budget-bound: Classic. No sunroof, no camera, no alloys, analogue dials. Classic+ costs little more and adds the sunroof, alloys and the 8-speed automatic option.

For the enthusiast: Monte Carlo. Automatic only, but you get the 1.5 TSI DSG, the full tech suite and the red-and-black styling. Just note there is no manual gearbox on this trim.

Variant, feature, colour and warranty details are taken from Škoda Auto India's official Slavia brochure published on 16 August 2026. Škoda notes that brochure images are computer-generated and that specifications may change without notice — verify the feature list with an authorised dealer before booking. Pricing is indicative; the brochure does not list variant-wise prices.
