Upcoming Tata Cars In 2024. As we all know Tata needs no introduction. This brand has also made itself a symbol of safety. Tata is the first Indian brand which introduced five star safety rating cars in Indian car community. It has various cars under every segment matching with customer’s demand. This is the brand which has brand names like Jaguar Land Rover under its stable.
There was a time in India when 90% of cars seen on road were of Maruti. After that the Indian car market was dominated by two brands Maruti and Hyundai . But now if we see last year’s report Tata has bagged second position in this list leaving behind Hyundai. This was only possible as now Indian customers are very much aware of the safety.
What Tata is offering for the upcoming year?
Tata is expecting to introduce following cars in next upcoming year 2024 out of which some has already launched like Nexon and Punch.
Tata Car Below 20 Lakhs
1. Altroz Racer
Its current running model comes in three engine variants. iCNG, petrol revetron, and diesel reventorque. But the new racer concept was exhibited in 2023 Auto Expo. Under its hood it’s the same 1.2 litre three cylinder Turbo-petrol engine same as Tata Nexon. Which churns out 118 HP and 270 nm peak torque coupled with a 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed DCT Automatic transmission.
Price range : expected price of this car is 10-12 Lakh.
2. Tata Harrier and Safari
This two particular models has a very huge fan base. The name harrier and safari itself is a brand. The Facelift version of the current running model are likely to launch in 2024. Camouflage test vehicles of both the variant are going on. Tata has also confirm that the new variant will be 1 to 1.2 lakh cheaper than the variants available now as Tata is introducing its 1.5 ltr four cylinder turbo petrol TGDI engine. Its power figures has not been officially released from Tata but most probably it may be around 150-170 HP with peak torque of 350nm. Both the vehicles are based on the same platforms and both will share the same gear box of 6 speed manual, AMT & Speed DCT Automatic Transmission with Paddle Shifters and Diesel variant will be the same as the currently continuing variant i.e 2 Litre 4 cylinder in geometry Turbo Engine.
Price range : 15-16 lakh

3. Tata Curvv and Curvv EV
The curvv concept from Tata motors introduces a dynamic and modern SUV typology. The CURVV has found the perfect balance between elegance, performance and practicality. This is powered by internal combustion engine. Tata is debuting its newly developed engine 1.2 ltr turbo petrol direct injection. Tata has not yet disclosed power and torque figures. Regarding the EV version of CURVV, Tata has not shared the exact aspect, but it is expected that its motor will be much more superior than Nexon Ev max, resulting in nearly the same power as Nexon EV, but with an increased drive range.
Price range: It will be coming in the price range of 20-25 lakh(for ev) and10-15 lakh (for curvv) directly competing with Hyundai’s kone.
4. Tata Sierra and Sierra EV
Tata is planning to reintroduce its legendary vehicle, the Tata Sierra, directly drawing inspiration from the Defender. The design takes cues from the first-generation model launched in the ’90s.
This will be a pure electric. It will be much different from its predecessor which was a diesel engine. Tata is claiming a range of 500-600 kms in a single charge. Just after the launch of EV Tata is planning to launch this with an ICE engine also i.e 1.5 ltr four cylinder petrol engine.
Price range: 25-30 lakh this is going to be the costliest vehicle from the Tata’s stable.

- Will the production variants will be similar to the concepts?
Tata’s design history and previous released models demonstrate that they ensure the production variants closely resemble the concepts showcased in the Auto Expo.
- Will the Tata newly developed direct injection engine will be cheaper?
Tata R&D has worked day and night to keep the prices on the lower side but this engine will cost marginally higher than the ongoing TGDI engine.
